Spotlight On Porn Pioneer Buck Angel

Okay, I must admit I love trans boys. I don't know what it is but I find them to be so beautiful. I have a lot of trans friends, both male to female and female to male, I've slept with a lot of trans boys and even dated a few. Maybe it's the bisexual in me. I don't know. But anyway, enough about me, we are here to spotlight an iconic pioneer in the industry today: Buck Angel.
I love this guy. He's a great performer who, you can tell, loves what he does. Whether he's doing a scene with a guy or a girl I never get bored watching him. Buck is a smart business man, who found his niche and made it work for him. He is a two time Feminist Porn Award winner and has won the Transexual Performer Of The Year for both The Tranny Awards and AVN; he is the only FTM performer to be nominated and win the award.
He is the founder of Buck Angel Entertainment. A performer, producer, writer, lecturer, educator and advocate and has spoken at Yale during Sex Week; his story is one of the most interesting that I've researched.

Buck was born in The San Fernando Valley in 1972. He has said that he was a tomboy growing up and that he was accepted by his friends and family. It wasn't until he began to develop his secondary sex characteristics at 16 that things began to become very tense.
After a non-fatal suicide attempt in high school he was sent to therapy and, for the first time, he confessed that he felt like a man. At a time when being transgendered was still not understood his confession was not received well and there was even talk of having him institutionalized.
Buck tried to live as a woman and even made a good living working as a female model but he was unhappy and soon found himself drinking and taking drugs.
Soon he began producing his own movies and started billing himself as The Man With A Pussy.

In 2005 Buck made history by being the first trans man to perform in an all male porn that was produced by a gay company. The film was Titan's Cirque Noir and it was this film and Buck's performance that pioneered in a new genre in gay films.
Buck would make history a second time in 2005 by appearing in Allanah Starr's Big Boob Adventures. The film was director by transsexual Gia Darling and featured the first filmed sex scene between Allanah Starr, who is a trans woman, and Buck Angel.
2008 was a busy year for Buck. Not only did he star in the film Buckback Mountain-just how many of these Brokeback parodies are there? Not that I'm complaining-but he also flew to London and posed for a life sized sculpture for Marc Quinn. The sculpture has been seen all over the world.
Also in 2008 Buck appeared in Ed Powers' book Naked and filmed a scene for Justin Lubin's documentary of the same name with Wolf Hudson.
Between 2010 and 2012 he created the series Sexing The Transman XXX for which he won the Feminist Porn Award.

In 2012 he created a dating site for trans men www.buckangeldating.com check it out. It's pretty cool.
Besides his work in the adult entertainment industry he has appeared on  main stream talk shows such as Howard Stern, Tyra, Maury, Secret Lives Of Women, The Morning Show in The U.K. and The Jensen Show in The Netherlands and he was the subject of the 2013 documentary Mr. Angel.
Buck has been married twice. His first marriage was to Karin Winslow, a San Francisco dominatrix who also goes by the name Ilsa Strix. His second marriage was to body piercer Elayne Angel.
