Dirk Shafer, who tragically passed away a short time ago, has had a GoFundMe started by his family and friends.
The fund was started to cover costs of his memorial service that was held April 19th at Hollywood Forever however, it doesn't end there.
His friends and family want to start a scholarship for young gay filmmakers in his name which I think is awesome and will ensure that Dirk does live forever.
