I'm Baaaaaaaaaaaack! And I Have A 2nd Cybersocket Nomination!

Wow! It feels good to be back typing on the blog again. Talk about returning from the dead. Although it's only been since March. Felt longer.
So first I apologize to all my readers, almost 200,000 wow!, for going MIA. I got swamped with writing, have a new erotic novel that came out from Totally Bound called The Thirteen Acts, get your copy here:, was busy with acting, doing a ton of voice acting, started studying with Gloria Gifford and doing a production of Much Ado About Nothing. And I moved.
But I am going to post more. Especially since I've been nominated for my second Cybersocket Award. Yay! Super grateful. Please vote for me here:

It's good to be back and to continue to introduce people to porn and fight for the industry and educate people about it. Stay tuned for some reviews and two xxxciting interviews.

Exclusive Interview With The New Girl In Porn Summer Day!

I love impromptu things. Doesn't matter what it is, if it's unplanned, I'm down and that's how this interview with newcomer Summer Day happened when she accompanied fellow new porn boy Dray Stone to my house; his interview is coming soon as well.
Summer and I started talking, found out we had a lot in common and were really vibing well together so I asked if she wanted to be interviewed on the blog and to my great joy she agreed.
Now for those of you who aren't familiar with her yet, Summer is one girl in porn to watch out for: beautiful, smart, confident, with a great body and a love for sex Day is the type of empowered strong feminist that lasts in the industry. With her infectious smile and personality she is going to be one of those girls who has a meteoric rise to fame just because directors are going to want her on their sets.
So without further ado, on this beautiful Spring day, ladies and gentlemen please welcome Summer Day!

JOE: How long you've been in the industry, what made you want to get into the industry and how you got into porn and where did your stage name came from?

SUMMER: I used to dance at a strip club and the name Summer always suited me because I'm bright and I make people smile, it was how I always lured people in. I've been in the industry for about three months now and I've loved every day of it. Since a young age I knew I wanted to do what I do but I've always had many hobbies as well so I always kept porn and my sexual interests as a hobby, when it came time it's what made and makes me most happy and I believe you should love your life doing what you love. It's more than just loving sex, there's lots of work to it and I learn more everyday, but that's what pushes me forward.

JOE: Going off that, how hard is it to go from being a fan of porn or someone who just watches porn to actually being in the industry and being a performer? What advice would you  give to guys and girls who are thinking of getting into the industry?

SUMMER: There's definitely a difference between just enjoying sex and being a good actor or actress. To be a performer you need to be able to take criticism and learn to adapt, that's my best advice. Going from watching porn to being in it, fulfills more fantasies for me than it might others so I've spent time thinking how it would be. All I could say is every shoot is different, some are what I imagine and some aren't but there's where the progress comes from.

JOE: Do your friends and family know? If so was it hard to tell them if not is it hard to keep it a secret especially now in the age of social media where it's harder to keep the anonymity of the industry? Any advice on how to come out as porn performer to your friends and family?

SUMMER: I told my family early on because I have a very loving environment, they also all know me well enough none of them were surprised. This is coming from the girl who ran around naked at 5 wanting to be in Playboy. My family is all artists and they trust me and the head on my shoulders they're just happy I'm finally happy.

JOE: How difficult is it to have a relationship while you're in the industry?

SUMMER: I'm anti relationship so I wouldn't know!!! Single forever!

JOE:  Summer are you currently repped? If yes who with? How important is it for a performer to be repped and how important is it to have a strong social media presence?

SUMMER: My agent is Motley Models. I think it's important to be repped but that is an area I know little about from experience. Before I ever shot I already had a contract. For having a strong social media presence as long as it is positive I think it's extremely important because your fans want to know what's on your mind and who you are and the more you're out there and making a presence the more people will notice you.

JOE: A lot of performers either came from mainstream or have mainstream aspirations do either of these hold true for you?

SUMMER: I did some mainstream modeling and I may in the future but all my aspirations are within the industry.

JOE: What's been the biggest surprise or shock about the industry?

SUMMER: I would say there's more pleasant surprises than there are shocks, but like I said I learn new quirks and tricks everyday. I was most surprised when I started on how professional everything is, not that I didn't think it would be, but it definitely satisfied my expectations. Out of all jobs I've had in the past these are the nicest, most professional, dedicated and goal oriented people I've been able to work with and I feel blessed just being able to learn from people who's been in the industry for so long.

JOE: Who are the people in the industry-performers, studios, directors-you want to work with most?

SUMMER: I'm not good with names but anal is my favorite forte so sites, studios, and producers who focus on that will always be my first option!

JOE:  What won't you do on camera? Anything you do on camera that you won't do in your personal life? How do you decide what you will and won't do in a scene?

SUMMER: There's nothing I do in my personal life I wouldn't do on camera, I just may not have gotten to all the scenes yet hehe. I'm a very open person and I'll almost always try something once so pushing me sexually isn't very hard to do.

JOE: You recently attended AVN; was this your first AVN? What was the experience like? Were you surprised by anything there or by the fans that showed up?

SUMMER: I was surprised about how many fans I met at AVN, with being so new still. They were all so nice and sweet. This was my first year and it  was insane. Next year my main plan is to just not drink as much; gotta save your energy for the very end!

JOE: Summer I ask this of all the girls I interview, a lot of the radical feminists try to shame the women who are in the industry and argue that women are degraded and forced to perform what are your thoughts on this and what would you tell these women who think that?

SUMMER: Ah those types of woman are my least favorite. I don't blame them because in any area you will always have people pro and against you, and I'm sure they grew up where porn was looked down upon. They always likely have never been sexually awakened so for them sex is a completely different term then it is to us. These woman or people, need to put themselves in others shoes- they imagine being a girl who's forced to do acts but have they ever thought of being a girl who loves sex and wants to be in magazines for it? Because I do for myself not for anyone else. Porn doesn't take away a woman's power, porn and sex completely empowers me to stand up for myself and be who I want. I don't believe in putting down what others love is wrong. If a woman believes she should wait until marriage and all that then good for her as long as she is a good, nice human being. But just as I don't want that for myself, I demand for these woman to realize I don't want to get married and I don't want kids. I don't want any of that conventional life- I want to be in my 60s on nude beaches fucking frat boys still drinking tequila. So for certain people who want to put down what I do, although I disagree, all I can say is we are just too different in the way we think and I would never judge a book by its cover.

JOE: What do you do in your free time?

SUMMER: I love to workout and hangout with my girls. Prank calls, shopping, tanning- all the fun girly stuff. I don't date but I do love to socialize.

JOE: Any upcoming scenes you would like to promote?

SUMMER: I just shot two scenes with Evil Angel, I won't say too much but they will be out soon!

I would like to thank Summer for taking the time to appear on my blog and I wish her all the best in the world! And keep an eye on her folks, with her passion I wouldn't be surprised if Summer Day is the next Candida Royale or Nina Hartley.

Exclusive Interview With Icon Male's Nica Noelle!

TGIF and happy March my marvelous fans of fornication. Before we get into the meats and potatoes let me apologize for being so absent and silent especially with so much juicy stuff going on in the industry; which I have tried to share via Twitter. It has been crazy on my end with writing, working tech for a play, doing some extreme haunts and transitioning from on camera acting into voice acting. There's just not enough time to do anything. But I am going to try my best to dedicate at least two hours a day, fingers crossed I make that, to update the blog like I used to; especially since I've surpassed one hundred thousand readers! Thank you thank you thank you. Never thought that would happen so quick.
Okay enough of that. Let's get into the fun stuff. I'm really excited about this interview with Icon Male's Nica Noelle. Aside from mr. Pam Nica is the only female gay porn director and she is one interested woman so I was super excited when she agreed to be interviewed on the blog and talk about everything from how she started in the industry to her infamous feud with another certain blogger in the industry. And let me just add, any of you that follow other blogs or have read any bad things written about Nica let me just say that in all of my conversations and dealings with her she has been the most gracious. lovely, polite and nicest person I've talked to in a long time. We've even talked about me possibly doing a non-sex role in one of her films; I'll keep you guys updated on when and if that happens; that would be my first non-sex role in a gay porn film!
Anyway, enough of my ramblings, ladies and gentlemen please welcome Ms. Nica Noelle!
JOE: You started your career as a director of lesbian porn - why did you choose that genre? And after achieving so much success in lesbian and straight porn, why did you leave those genres to produce gay porn?
NICA: I started out making lesbian porn because it was what I watched, and I had a lot of ideas about what I wanted to do artistically. I was always more interested in same-sex stories because I find them more compelling than traditional, straight romance. I’m not interested in love stories if there’s not some kind of forbidden element. But it took me a while to move into gay porn because once my career took off I was obligated to write and direct 4 straight titles a month. It left me no time left for anything else, including a persona life! But eventually I made some moves so it could happen, and gay porn has been my most successful genre yet.
JOE: There aren't too many women who are directors or even involved in gay porn, I believe Mr. Pam is the only other well known female director. Why do you think more women aren't involved in the industry? Have you faced any backlash, discrimination or sexism because you are a women in this industry?
NICA: Most of the backlash I get is related the success of Icon Male, not because of my gender, though sometimes they’ll throw that in for good measure. As for why more female directors aren’t in gay porn, I was asked that same question when I started shooting straight movies. There were so few female directors at the time you could count us on one hand, and we were all doing very different things. But these days at least half of the biggest directors in straight porn are women, and I wouldn’t be surprised if eventually the same will be true in gay.
JOE:  I've heard that the biggest watchers and fans of gay porn are older, straight, sometimes married women. Is this true? Why do you think this is?

NICA:  I know some fans who fit that description. Obviously sexuality is very complicated and we have to be careful not to draw too many conclusions about why someone prefers one type of porn and not another. But for some women it might be less threatening to watch two men together. For instance, a woman watching gay porn doesn’t have to worry if the guy in the scene would reject her for not being young enough, or cute enough, since he essentially “rejects” all women. Or some women might fantasize about being that special girl who turns a gay man straight. But some women might just prefer the aesthetic, the visual, of two men together. Not everyone wants to see vaginas in their porn, just as there are guys who only watch lesbian porn because they don’t want to see penises.

JOE: Do you watch and enjoy porn or have you become desensitized to it? What's your favorite kind of porn to watch and to direct/write?

NICA: I’m desensitized to most types of porn, even the kind I used to watch before I became a director. The fourth wall has been smashed into a million little pieces, let’s put it that way. Porn for me is purely an artistic endeavor and separate from what turns me on.

JOE: Do you have one aspect of your job that you like more: directing, performing or writing?

NICA: The only time I enjoy directing or being on set is when I’m working with performers who bring a level of artistry to the table and care about the movie and their performance. Writing is what comes most naturally to me, and if I could write full time I think I would be very happy.
As for performing, I never considered myself a true performer. I did it so I could share in the stigma, and also because I wanted to understand how it felt. I wanted to know if it was possible to stay connected to your partner with cameras hovering over you and all the other distracting things going on. There were also political statements I wanted to make. Most of the boy/girl scenes I performed were with male “crossover” talent, as they’re called, because there was a stigma to working with those performers. I also did a scene with Mr. Marcus but refused to promote it as my “first interracial,” which is a term that makes me cringe. I was lucky enough to be in a power position with my studios and I wanted to use it to defy industry norms, some of which were - and continue to be - homophobia and racism.

JOE: What advice do you have for people just getting started in the industry and what advice do you have for women who want to get into the industry?

NICA: The experience here is so different for everyone that it’s hard to give advice. When it comes to porn, as a coworker of mine once said, “there’s a lot of ways in.”
One piece of advice I might give is don’t do things you don’t want to do just for the money. The money will be gone in a flash, but a bad experience will stay with you. Too many of them over time can change you in ways you can’t quite predict.

JOE: I know you are a parent - does your child know what you do? Any advice on how to tell your friends, family, partner that you work in the adult industry?

NICA: My son and I are best friends and he’s very supportive of what I do, but that wasn’t always the case. He was just a kid when I first started directing, and even though he wasn’t given any specific details he was aware that I worked in the adult industry and it bothered him. He was afraid that I’d be killed by a stalker, or that his friends would find out and tease him about it. But at the same time, he grew up with performers as our extended family. Wolf Hudson was a constant presence in our home, and Satine Phoenix, who’s now a graphic novelist, has been one of our closest friends for years and was his babysitter. Michelle Lay would bake him cupcakes, and she and her husband were always hanging out at our house. So he’s grown up with some wonderful people who also happened to work in adult films, and these days he views it all as pretty normal.
When it comes to telling other people what I do, I take it on a case by case basis. I’m still guarded around strangers for my own protection, but also for theirs so I don't make them uncomfortable. I mean it’s a little heavy-handed to announce “I’m a pornographer!” any time someone asks me what I do for a living. Once you decide to tell someone you’re in porn you can’t un-tell them, and 9 times out of 10 it will change how they view you.
As for what to tell the people I’m dating, that’s still a tough one. I make it a rule not to date anyone I work with, but they’re the only people I interact with on a regular basis. I think one of the main reasons I’m not attracted to my coworkers is because I’ve seen them naked so many times, I’ve seen them having sex with so many different people. I know their bodies so intimately -- if they have a scar on their leg, or a toenail missing, if they shave their public hair or don’t shave it. Right from the start I know things about them that in real life you have to make an effort to learn about someone - you have to earn that intimacy. The casual nonchalance porn stars develop toward sex, compounded by my having to coldly assess their bodies and sexual skills, kills any trace of romantic mystique. But then when I date people outside of porn, I'm instantly reminded that most of them have very strange ideas about my job. They’re either overly enthusiastic about it, which is gross, or they’re intimidated by me. Lisa Ann said something very poignant once when an interviewer asked her about her love life. She said, “Everyone wants to be with me, and no one wants to be with me.”  I think that perfectly sums up the romantic plight of your friendly neighborhood porn star.

JOE: Favorite performers you've worked with? Or favorite film you've directed?

NICA: There’s no way I can list everyone, but let me name a few. Brendan Patrick is a wonderful, soulful actor and performer, and a beautiful person. Rodney Steele is extraordinary and brings such complexity and depth to every role. Alexander Gustavo blows me away, he’s so great at everything: a natural actor, a passionate performer, and a terrific guy to have around. Sam Truitt and Trent Ferris, whom I refer to as “Twone” because they’re essentially one person, are beautiful young performers who always bring something real and touching to their scenes. Ty Roderick has that “tortured hero” quality and you just never get tired of looking at him. And of course Nick Capra is my go-to guy for just about everything. He’s beautiful, he’s an artist, he’s one of the best performers I’ve worked with in any genre, and he’s also my favorite human.

JOE: You joked that you want to be “The JD Saligner of Porn” and that you don't like big crowds which is why you don't attend award shows. Why do large crowds bother you? Are you just a shy, quiet person who would rather stay home? That's something you don't often find in the gay porn world.

NICA: In real life I’m very reclusive, yes. I spend a lot of time alone. I wish I was more of a people person and enjoyed social interaction more. It looks like so much fun when other people are doing it but I can only handle it in small doses. I think it’s true that extroverts recharge themselves by being around other people while introverts do it by being alone.

JOE:  You have a pretty well known feud with Zachary Sire how did that happen?

NICA: Zach used to work as a blogger for AEBN at the same time I was partnered with them, but he was fired for some reason, and there was talk about him being very disgruntled. Like “this guy wants revenge, so watch out” type concerns. The next thing I heard, he’d started a new blog and was going after performers with a vengeance. I remember blocking him after reading some vicious things he wrote about a performer I knew to be a really nice person. It was just cruel, nasty stuff, humiliating insults about the guy's looks and performance. To me Zach always seemed like one of those inadequate personality types who uses the internet to express his rage. He’s obviously a huge fan of gay porn, yet he loves to humiliate gay porn stars and kick them when they’re down. I’m sure it’s something of a power trip that this weasly-looking, middle-aged guy has all these hot porn stars not only aware of who he is but essentially terrified of him. He's like Hedda Hopper in the 1950s - a homely girl who was obsessed with Hollywood but couldn’t break into the movies, so she started a column to target movie stars and ruin their careers. Zach is like the Hedda Hopper of Gay Porn, but without the power to influence anything. He spent an entire year attacking me and my studio and we finished as the top selling gay line of 2015. I'm not saying that to brag, but to make the point that if anyone's afraid of this guy, don't be.

JOE: Any advice for people in the industry who get harassed, embarrassed or exposed by the blogs? How do you handle that? Or deal with it in an effective way to not fuel the fire?

NICA: I’ve always taken the approach of transparency. I like to respond to anything that’s said about me when it’s brought to my attention, and be accountable for any concerns people might have. But I’ve learned that can be a naive approach, because people who attack you on the internet aren’t looking for answers; they’re looking to destroy your reputation. Once you start engaging internet trolls - many of which are fake profiles created specifically to attack you - - it’s a black hole you can never get out of. You have to ignore it, which can be tough if you’re an honest person with nothing to hide. But if you know you’ve done nothing wrong just block out the noise and have faith that the truth will prevail. Because weirdly enough it usually does.

JOE: Do you think the internet and tube sites have helped or hurt the industry?

NICA: Obviously the internet has affected the adult industry, just as it has shaken up and changed every industry. I remember a newspaper writer friend of mine was in a panic several years ago because nobody was buying print newspapers anymore, and he was worried he might have to take a salary cut or lose his job completely. But most industries find a way to adapt if they’re selling products that people still need. As for porn, we can keep whining about pirating or about how much producers made “back in the day,” but what good does that do us now? People will always want porn, so at least our product hasn’t been rendered obsolete. We just need to adapt to the changing times and deal with the present.

JOE: What are your thoughts on studios who do bareback content? Do you think we should have strict condom laws in porn?

NICA: Listen, I think Truvada is amazing. It’s fantastic that we have this pill that offers so much protection from HIV. But HIV is not the only STD out there. Many STDs we haven’t seen in years are coming back with a vengeance, and there could be new ones on the horizon. The bottom line is I don’t want a performer to come to my set and leave with a life-changing or life-threatening illness. I don’t want him forced out of work for any period of time because he got sick working for Icon Male. Condoms are a health and safety issue for me, not a political statement. Meaning, if I could digitally remove condoms in post-production I would, because I know it interferes with the fantasy for some people. But performers are people too, and I can’t put them at risk just because some viewers don’t want to see condoms. When I shoot a bareback scene, which is very rare, I either use real-life couples or put extra safety measures in place. I’m not saying we should have to eliminate all risks - you can’t do that with anything in life - but you can take reasonable steps to reduce those risks.

JOE: A big topic and debate is the whole gay for pay porn and gay for pay porn stars, what are your thoughts on that genre?

NICA: One thing I’ve learned by working in porn for the last decade is that sexuality is not cut-and-dried. In my opinion nobody has the right to tell a performer they aren’t “allowed” in gay/lesbian porn unless they 100% identify that way off-camera. More than ever we’re discovering sexuality can be quite fluid. Some of us may enjoy having sex with our own gender on camera and off, yet prefer serious relationships with the opposite sex. Or, we might not have sex with our own gender at home, but still truly enjoy doing so on camera. I used to judge performers based on their personal lives and scoff at anyone who wasn’t “really” gay or lesbian, but I don’t anymore because I’ve been proven wrong too many times. That said, I won’t tolerate gay4payers who come to set and announce they don’t give oral or won’t kiss another man because they’re straight. If you're limited in what you can do because you’re straight, then you don’t belong in gay porn. Trust me, no one wants to work with those people, including me! I’ve eaten the cost of airline tickets, paid kill fees, rescheduled entire shoots, just to get guys like that off my set.

JOE: How does it feel to win The Cybersocket Award this year?

NICA: I generally don’t pay attention to awards because particularly in porn they’re so unfair, so not a reflection of who the innovators are, where the creativity is coming from, or who the truly great performers are. They’re designed to keep certain studio’s product on retailer's shelves. So at first when I found out we won I was like “Okay cool, thanks.” You know, more porn awards, whatever. But then people told me it was fan-voted and that changed my whole attitude. Any award where the fans voted for us is extremely important to me. So I had a delayed reaction, I guess you could say. And I’d like to reiterate my thanks to all the fans and Cybersocket too. It was a very challenging year for me, both personally and professionally, and the fans kept me going. I hope we can keep them all just as happy in 2016.

I would like to thank Nica for taking the time out of her busy schedule to give us an amazing insight into her world. Thanks again Nica and you're welcome on my site anytime. Can't wait to collaborate with you!

Two Lost John Holmes Features Released By Hustler Video And Zero Tolerance!

This is truly a historic day in the industry.
Two long lost John Holmes' films, the first two the star did after he transitioned from doing loops to features, have been found and released by Zero Tolerance and Hustler Video.
The films, Balls In Action and Doctor I'm Coming, were kept hidden away in the director's personal library after he got a lucrative mainstream deal and was worried that his directing Holmes would hurt his mainstream career.
Well now thanks to Larry Flynt and the good folks at Zero Tolerance, who have remastered the footage we can see Holmes' glorious feature debut in this stunning double feature!

Review Of Soles By Kay Brandt

I once called Kay Brandt the Stephen King of erotica. It's on Twitter, it's on the cover of the paperback cover of her novel Safe Landings and I meant it. Like King, Brandt knows how to weave together a dramatic story sprinkled with humor and characters who, while they may not always be likable or make the best choices, are believable and that's why we root for them and devour her books in one day. And for those of you who are longtime Kay Brandt readers you know that's true. I read Safe Landings in a day and I got through soles in about four hours; I even found myself reading it while cooking and eating dinner at the table! Clear signs of a good book.
And why would you want to put it down? Brandt has created a both fun and terrifying world that is a unique take on the classic haunted house/ghost story/possession story, taking something that isn't generally looked at as terrifying-shoes-and creating a story that will make you think twice before you ever walking into another shoes store and purchasing another pair of shoes ever again. In fact, you may find yourself purging yourself of every pair of shoes you own and just walking around barefoot for the rest of your life.
In this novel, Brandt's first non-erotic novel, we are transported back to the 80s. The best decade for, well everything, including horror and Soles has the feel of those wonderful 80s horror films that we greedily devoured; and still do.
Written with the feel of a young Stephen King with some V.C. Andrews sprinkled in for flavor, Soles is a terrifying rollercoaster that will leave the reader hungry for more, not able to stop until they have reached the very satisfying ending that no one will see coming. While I was reading I found myself wondering why the shoes were haunted and why they were tormenting this poor family for three generations and when I finally got that answer I was left with a big smile on my face and the only thing I could say was "well fuck. Pretty good reason."
Brandt also shows her talent for language and dialogue sprinkling those delicious 80s catchphrases and slang while she perfectly captures the voice of our hero, a nineteen year old miscreant and his companion an eighteen year old girl who already has a record and has spent time in juvie. Kay has developed these two so richly that you can see them-as well as all the other characters no matter how minor-in your head, hear their voices and root for them. Even though they aren't "good kids" and "come from the wrong side of the tracks" you can't help but like them and laugh at their banter back and forth hoping their rivalry is just a front and they will get together. Do they? Well you'll have to read the book and find out.
Brandt's story weaves us in and out of the present, past and even future, playing with our minds through several hallucinations that has us questioning our own state of sanity right along with her young hero's.
The most surprising thing about Soles is that this is the first "mainstream" novel Brandt has given us. Kay knows horror and she knows what, and how, to scare people, so it is shocking-saddening in a way-that it has taken this long for the literary world to discover this woman's amazing talents. If Stephen King is known as the master of horror, Kay Brandt will soon be known as the mistress of the genre if she keeps writing horror novels and she will soon find a place among the genre's other noted writers such as Anne Rice, Mary Shelley and Clive Barker.
Whether you are a long time Kay Brandt fan, a new fan, or just a horror fan who enjoys a spine tingling story, your collection won't be complete without Soles in your library.
Trust me, you won't be disappointed. And just a word of warning, make sure you keep your shoes in plain site while you're reading this one. Trust me.
Grade: Solid A+

Alexis Golden Returns To Performing After Five Year Hiatus

How's this for a happy hump day? Everyone's favorite golden haired, big busted cougar, Alexis Golden, has announced her return to performing after being gone for five years to focus on producing content for her studio Alexis Golden Productions.
Even better news? Golden is marking her return by shooting with one of my favorite studios, Naughty America.
No word yet on when we can see Alexis back in action but we're told that her first scene pairs her with Brick Danger in Seduced By A Cougar.
Golden has also announced that not only will she be touring Europe with Emma Starr but she is also revamping her website,, and teaming with Vicky Vette and doing live webcam performances through Vette's VNA webcam group.
Wow! Talk about coming back with a bang!
Welcome back Alexis. You have been missed.

Former WWE Diva, Tammy Lynn Sytch, Makes Porn Debut With Vivid's Sunny Side Up

Those of us who are old school wrestling fans and remember the days of WWF when it had daring story lines and wasn't afraid to push the boundaries will no doubt remember the beautiful Tammy Lynn Sytch AKA Sunny. With her blonde hair, perfect tan and All American girl features she was the girl next door, wrestling's sweetheart and her and real life husband Chris Candido were the perfect wrestling couple.
Well now we get to see a side of Sunny that we only dreamed about back in the day. The former wrestling diva has accepted Vivid's offer, you may remember I blogged about this when she was still considering, and her porn debut, Sunny Side Up, drops today on VOD with the DVD being released February 9th and she is making her industry debut with a bang-forgive the pun-appearing in three sex scenes one of which features anal sex and us wrestling fans always thought Francine was the queen of extreme and hardcore. ;)
And what does wrestling's girl next door have to say about the experience? When asked about her experience Sytch was quoted as saying: "I've always been a fan of adult movies. I consider myself extremely sexual and I'm also a voyeur. When I first thought about making the movie I was terrified. But then, as I was making it, I loved it. Vivid made the process a pleasure and I found everything about the company more professional than any wrestling experience."
Sytch's porn debut also coincides with the release of her autobiography, A Star Shattered, from, coincidentally enough, one of my publishers Riverdale Ave Books; small world huh? The book is scheduled to be released in both ebook and paperback this week.
To check out Sunny Side Up head over here:
And am I the only hoping they somehow were able to get the rights to use Sunny's old I Know You Want Me Theme? Take a listen to it here:
Congrats Tammy and welcome to the industry.

Transgender Pornstar Kimberly Devine Passes Away At 39

Transgender performer Kimberly Devine who made her debut in Bizarre Video's 1997 film, Portrait Of A TS has died. She was only 39.
Devine appeared in 10 compilations and 54 features during her career and worked for such companies as Leisure Time Entertainment, Boy Chick Productions, Vivid, Metro, 130 C Street Corporation, All Worlds and Odyssey Group. One AVN reviewer described her as having "the face of a slutty babe and the dick of a stud" and also said that Devine "serves up a delicious balance of womanly charm."
Admired, respected and thought of as a trailblazer for transgender porn by those who worked with her, knew her and respected her, Devine stopped performing in the mid 2000s however she did make a popular comeback in 2008 for Buddy Wood.
Rest in peace beautiful angel. You helped pave the way for many and I thank you for that.

Best Selling Erotic Writer And Award Winning Porn Director, Kay Brandt, Releases First Horror Novel, Soles

Happy Rent Day everyone!
Sorry I've been MIA but it has been crazy around here lately.
But here's something to brighten your day and a great way to begin your week and month, best selling author and award winning porn director, and my very good friend, Kay Brandt, has released her first horror novel entitled Soles and it sounds like an awesome read.
Here's the Amazon description: "Roland, an anti-social teen, inherited the family business—a specialty shoe store—a decade after his parents were murdered there. Having no choice but to accept his fate as the new owner of the creepy, run-down and very haunted store, Roland returns to where his childhood and bloodlines was stolen. The store had taken not only his parents from him, but his grandparents, and he could feel it wanted him dead, too. His psycho aunt, Grace, had run the store into the ground, and the ultimatum he'd been running from was finally given. A year had past since Roland was supposed to take over the business, and at nineteen, it was time for him to make his unwanted return. Terrified of facing the evil that lives in the stockroom, and the blood stains of his lineage embedded in the cement floors, he confronts his demons: eight vicious, blood-thirsty shoes alive and waiting to take possession of his soul. Will Roland succumb to the demonic curse that's plagued his family for generations? Or will he fight the madness that consumed his father, and release the evil embedded in the shoes' soles?"
Sounds creepy right? I know I can't wait to read and review it for you guys!
And could this also mean that we will be getting a mainstream adaptation of Brandt's latest novel, written and directed by her, of course? Hopefully the answer is yes!
Congrats Kay!

Best Selling Award Winning Author And Director, Kay Brandt, Launches Kinkfunder For New Project

I'm kicking myself that I'm so late in giving this amazing woman and her Kinkfunder press but there's still over two weeks to donate, share and help make this amazing project a reality.
Award winning director and best selling author, Kay Brandt, who gave me my start in porn by casting me in the non sex role of The Therapist in Safe Landings and who has become a close friend, has launched a Kinkfunder campagin to turn her book, Servant Quarter Stepbrothers, into a film.
Just reading the description of this book gets me hot and looking at the cast, which includes, India Summer, the super sweet August Ames who starred in Safe Landings, Mia Malkova, Mercedes Carrera, Dava Foxx, Dane Cross and fellow Safe Landings stars Marcus London and Xander Corvus, this promises to be one hot, hot HOT feature.
There's some great perks involved including producer credit, behind the scenes pictures, a visit to the set-and trust porn sets are even more fun to be on than mainstream sets-and even the option of autographed photos and/or panties or boxers from the stars. How does that not want to make you donate?
To see more about the campaign head on over here:
Congrats Kay! And if there's any non-sex roles, call me, maybe? ;) haha.

Here Is My Article On Last Night's Cybersocket Awards I Wrote For Xbiz.

Happy Cybersocket Recover day everyone!
I want to first congratulate all of my fellow nominees and winners. I will be posting the list soon but I need to recover myself. Didn't get to bed until after 2 and then was up early to meet Killian James for an exclusive interview which all of you are sure to enjoy.
Last night's awards was so much fun and everyone had a great time. I think Penthouse was packed more than it was last year. Host ChiChi LaRue did an amazing job, DJ Pornstar supplied some dope tunes that had everyone bumping and grinding and red carpet host Scotty B made sure to get all of the hottest guests naked and exposed on the red carpet. So a complete win.
Last night's ceremony was also a special one for me. It was my third time attending the awards and my first time attending as a nominee-sadly the blog didn't win this year but maybe next year-and also my first time attending as press; covering the event for Xbiz which, in my mind, makes me a winner. Special thanks to Morgan Sommer for recommending me to Xbiz and I hope this is the first of many articles I write for them.
To read my article go here:

Hope you guys enjoy it and congrats once again to all the winners! You guys deserved it!

A Little ReCap Of ChiChi LaRue's Grand ReOpening Party On January 9th

Happy New Year and 2016 my pervy porn purveyors.
Yes I am back. And let me just apologize for the too long hiatus I took but after two friends passing away suddenly within days of each other, another friend getting very sick and being in the hospital for a week, my father's own health failing and just being exhausted from how busy 2015 was for me I needed to just take a nice long vacation, relax, go home to Denver to see my family and recharge the batteries.
But I am back in LA now and ready to start blogging again. I missed bringing you guys porn news/stories and I promise I will try my hardest not to go away for that long again.
So with that in mind, what better way to start off 2016 with a little recap of gay porn director, ChiChi LaRue's, grand reopening party that took place this past Saturday in West Hollywood.
So first let me say I love LaRue's store. Whenever I was down in WeHo I would always stop in to her old store and just browse around, Plus it's always fun to see dildo molds of your friends' dicks, am I right? So when I saw on Facebook that ChiChi was having a grand reopening party for her new store of course I emailed her and made sure I was on the list.
Located almost directly across the street from where her old store was, the new ChiChi LaRue's has a prime spot right next to Mickey's and Fiesta Cantina; where Block Party's old store was; just FYI for all you Block Party fans they are now a few doors down close to Flaming Saddles.
Anyway, the party was a lot of fun and the store was packed with old fans, new fans, and just curious people who stopped in while walking down the street.
In the back of the store in the dungeon area was a live show of a very cute boy, clad only in a thong, getting whipped and flogged for all to see. The dungeon area is equipped with all the things any BDSM fan could need or want and this was also where the open bar was with the very adorable, shirtless and friendly Tayte Hanson playing bartender.
Of course the guest of honor, Miss ChiChi LaRue, was there and she couldn't have been friendly; stopping to talk to people, pose for pictures and she was all smiles as people congratulated her and I must say, she looks damn good! Also, she couldn't have been nicer or more lovely to be around. I've admired what LaRue has done in the industry for some time and must admit I was a little intimidated to go up to her and ask for the picture but she was so friendly about it and even told me to shoot her an email when I mentioned I do non-sex roles in porn and would love to work with her. A class act all the way.
The store is filled with everything you would want and expect to see in a sex store: DVDS, books, calendars, naughty greeting cars, lube, condoms-remember ChiChi's true motto: Safe Sex Is Hot Sex-as well as different kinds of underwear, a variety of sex toys and even hats that bear LaRue's name.
The store is nice sized with all the merchandise clearly visible and the prices are good. There's plenty of room to walk, it's clean and has a professional and friendly atmosphere about it. Even the dungeon area doesn't feel sleazy and, even if you're not into BDSM, you couldn't feel uncomfortable being back there. I admire sex stores that have that vibe and that make you feel like you're in any other store. I know sometimes it can be embarrassing to be seen going into them-just FYI, LaRue's does have an entrance in the back ally-but unless you are extremely closeted or self-conscious I can't see anyone feeling the need to use it.
So whether you're a ChiChi LaRue fan or just curious about what a drag queen's sex shop is like, the next time you're in West Hollywood stop in at 8861 Santa Monica Blvd. Trust me, you'll be glad you did.

Congratulations ChiChi! And I was serious, anytime you want to be interviewed, promote anything you're doing on the blog or need a non sex role that needs to be filled call me.
